A culture-first job board for AI & tech professionals. Filter jobs by 18 culture values — remote-first, async, work-life balance, engineering-driven, and more — backed by real Glassdoor data from 57 companies including Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, and Databricks. Compare company cultures side-by-side, take a culture quiz, and find roles that match how you like to work. Free, no account needed.

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Pradeep, the maker of JobsByCulture. The idea came from a personal frustration — I accepted a role at a company that looked great on paper, but the culture was nothing like what the careers page promised. I thought: why isn't there a way to filter jobs by how teams actually work? So I built it. I pulled data from 65,000+ Glassdoor reviews across 57 AI and tech companies and tagged every role with culture values like remote-first, async, work-life balance, and engineering-driven. A few things I'm proud of: - You can compare any two companies side-by-side on culture (800+ comparison pages) - Every value is evidence-based — if the Glassdoor data doesn't support it, the company doesn't get the tag - It's completely free, no account needed Some interesting findings from the data: Supabase has the highest Glassdoor (4.8) but the lowest work-life balance (3.0). "Flat hierarchy" breaks down past 300 employees at almost every company. And only 2 out of 57 companies actually earned the "ethical AI" tag. Would love your feedback — especially on what culture values matter most to you when job hunting. That's what drives the roadmap.
Sai, this is a solid concept. "Engineering-driven" often means different things at various companies; I've seen it range from deeply embedded RFC processes with high autonomy to simply having more engineers than product managers. Pulling data from Glassdoor to back these tags is smart because it’s a more honest reflection than a careers page. That said, without digging into actual development workflow data, "engineering-driven" remains a bit subjective. On data security, it's interesting to note that "ethical AI" is rare. I wonder if there’s a way to tag companies based on their data security culture – perhaps adherence to specific compliance frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR. That would be a stronger signal for candidates, especially in DevSecOps or DataOps roles, where security is paramount, not just ethical declarations. The "work-life balance" insight with Supabase is telling. I've found that balance often correlates with team structure; smaller, agile teams can sometimes demand more, while larger organizations with clear on-call rotations might provide better boundaries. It's not just about hours, but about the flexibility and predictability of work within that structure.
Interesting angle. Most job boards optimize for roles and salaries, but culture is usually where mismatches actually happen. Curious how you validate the culture data beyond self-reported signals. If this stays accurate over time, it could reduce a lot of bad hires on both sides. Also feels like something that could plug well into hiring workflows or even internal team matching.
